Son_of_IAM_ is a multidisciplinary creative, based in Lagos, Nigeria. His work primarily focuses on communicating His Faith visually, using Faith symbols, themes and figures to communicate his Faith bodily as inspired by the Holy Spirit in Worship. Promise (artist alias; Son_of_IAM), was born in Ogun State, Nigeria. Teaching himself how to draw as a child, evolving to learning Digital softwares like Photoshop, Blender 3D & Procreate in his early teenage years, to now using all these skills for a greater purpose; to serve the LORD. Change has been a common theme in his Life and in his work.

Origin
Looking back recently, I realized I was surrounded by few creatives, my mom was an event photographer. I remember how I used to play with her analogue camera in the compound. By secondary school, I was drawing constantly, on my class tables, in my note books, and on A4 papers, drawing diverse figures just to practice.
Years passed, we relocated and around 2020 my parent got me an old Pentium all-in-one desktop, a wired keyboard and a mouse, with those I installed Photoshop with the help of a new neighbor who was a graphic designer. He also helped with tutorial videos, and textures on my drive. It wasn't a pivot — it was a new track in the same direction.
In 2022 I took a big break from social media and started teaching myself Blender 3D. Studied the blender gurus — polyfjord, blender guru, ducky 3D — and fused their techniques with my vision. Back then, I just wanted to create and communicate a world only I could see in my head.
